Pleasington Golf Club
Formed in October 1890, Pleasington is without doubt one of the best tests of golf in the North-West of England, with a superb layout, being part heathland in character with some heather. This beautiful and picturesque golf course is within 2 miles of exit 3 of the M65 Motorway in Pleasington, a rural village area on the outskirts of Blackburn, with magnificent country views.
Pleasington first began to use Hexapath almost 10 years ago, in the regeneration and maintenance of the pathways around the fabulous course.
The images to the left are just a few of the areas around the course where Hexapath has been used to great effect, helping to keep the entire course playable all year round. As with most golf courses that use Hexapath, progress is a continually ongoing thing, each year the course managers and greenkeepers adapt and improve worn out patrhways and surfaces by installing Hexapath while at the same time keeping the surrounding area green and aesthetically pleasing.
